Albert Park Women’s Golf and Creekside combined to take out the inaugural Mixed Pennant Competition ( white Division)!
The winning team was made up of:
Creekside: Scott, Tony, Ben, Chris (+Angus/Chris Krause)
Albert Park: Aisha, Laura, Robyn, Sandra (+Theresa, Elim)
Well done to the VGL (Peter) for arranging this fantastic event, it was a super 4 weeks of competition and thoroughly enjoyed by everybody. Creekside Golf Club were excited to pair up with the Albert Park Women’s Golf Club after they initially selected us.
The Creekside team met Laura and her team at Albert Park for a meet and greet game a few weeks before the start of this comp and left there feeling really excited about our pairing….good golfers, with competitive spirits, and great fun to hang out with.
As for the Final, our thanks to Lakeside for a great game, funny old thing golf, the 4 ladies won, and the 4 boys lost… so Scott Eaton felt he owed them as he went to the 1st Tee playoff, both players drove long and then hit the green with good approaches, and Scott made the putt of his life…..You can see a video of his putt on facebook here on our…Creekside Facebook page
