Just a short note to summarise online booking and MiScore uptake.
Results for June 13th game –
- Total online bookings 94 – Fantastic to see so many members playing. About 30% more players than the past couple seasons for this time of the year.
- MiScore users: 73 – This is close to 80% of players using MiScore, which far exceeds the committee’s earlier expectations. Well done CGC members.
- Paper users: 18 – Guys you are missing out, see Quicklinks below.
- Lady MiScore user: 100% – Wow, this is spectacular, go girls.
- No score entered: 2 – This is a massive improvement over the June 6th game so well done everybody.
MiScore Quicklinks –
Besides the obvious use for scoring, MiScore includes some features that you may not have discovered yet. Press Menu in the top right hand corner of the MiScore screen.
- MiStats – View and analyse your past rounds.
- Local Rules – View CGC local rules which will be loaded this week.
- Leaderboard with live scoring – See where you stand in the field at any time. Check club house scores, and live scores throughout the field. If you are a player who prefers not to know where you are in the field then don’t look here. if you do prefer to know, then this is perfect for you.
- Handicap – Links to GolfLink so you can view your GA at any time and calculate your playing HC without having to log in to Golf Australia website. Scroll down to find the daily HC calculator. Select Morack GC not Morack Seniors.
- Settings – Make adjustments to suit your preference (and battery life).
- During the round you can also view your virtual scorecard – press the total score button on the scoring page.
- Social Scoring – For non-comp games you don’t have to be registered. Press Social Scoring.
